Tori is a very calm and content old lady. She always wants to be in the room with her people, but she doesn't demand constant attention - just being nearby is enough. She sometimes grabs her favorite toy to chew on and will play tug-of-war for a while, but eventually she'd rather just lie down and get some scratches.
Tori is fully house trained and will generally let you know when she needs to go out. When her fosters leave for work; she just finds a comfortable spot and rests while they're gone. She's a quiet dog; she rarely barks unless she sees another dog outside or a deer!
Tori and the resident dog get along just fine: they don't play together; they just hang out. Tori would do best with another low-energy dog rather than a dog that would initiate play.
We thought Tori was hearing impaired, but she may just be stubborn - it seems she can hear the treat bag from two rooms over and can hear her dog food can open from all the way upstairs!
Tori will make a great companion for someone who wants a low-maintenance friend to just hang out and watch tv and go on short walks sometimes. She couldn't be easier to take care of and will happily join anyone on the couch for some belly rubs and relax time. She's calm and quiet but has lots of love to give.
Tori is in a foster home and not at the shelter, please email foster@franklincountyohio.gov to meet TORI.
