Blake is a handsome 4-year-old gentleman who's looking for a patient person willing to let him settle in at his own pace. Change has been a big adjustment for him, and the shelter environment has been overwhelming, so he's been spending much of his time tucked away in his favourite hiding spots.
Before coming to the shelter, Blake lived as the only pet in a quiet adult home, and we think he'll be happiest in a similar environment. He hasn't lived with children, so a calm, adult-only home where his boundaries are respected would likely suit him best.
Blake isn't the type of cat who will be everyone's best friend on day one, but for someone who understands that trust takes time, he'll be a rewarding companion. If you have a quiet home, plenty of patience, and are looking to give a shy cat the chance to blossom, Blake could be the perfect match.
