Meet Rosie, a delicate and sensitive soul who is looking for a very special person to show her that the world can be a safe and quiet place. Rosie arrived at the shelter after a stressful journey and has spent most of her time here tucked away in cozy safe spots hiding away. the small victories-like accepting a Churu treat from a patient volunteer-show that there is a sweet girl under all that shyness just waiting for the right environment to blossom.
HOME TYPE: Very Quiet & Low-Traffic. Rosie needs a sanctuary room where she can hide and decompress at her own pace for several weeks.
CHILDREN: Adult-Only Home. Due to her extreme fear of movement and and loud noises, she would likely do best in a home without young children.
OTHER ANIMALS: Likely Adaptable (with a friend). She has been seen seeking comfort by staying close and cuddled up with other cats, so a confident, calm feline sibling might actually help her feel more brave!
HUMAN COMPATIBILITY/SOCIABILITY: Patient & Experienced. Rosie needs an owner who is happy to just sit and talk to her without expecting immediate pets.
FAVOURITE THINGS: Churu treats (the way to her heart!), polka dot tents, and high-up cat trees where she can watch the world from a safe distance.
