Hello there, I'm Preston! I'm a charming 11-year-old gentleman with a soft black-and-white coat and an even softer heart. I may be a senior, but I still have so much love to give! I thrive on gentle affection, cozy spots to lounge, and-most importantly-being brushed (I could sit for a good grooming session all day!).
I can be a little shy at first, but once I trust you, I'll be nudging you for head rubs, giving sweet head-butts, and showing off my signature move-standing on my hind legs like a lucky cat when I see treats. I enjoy a relaxed, predictable home where I can settle in and feel safe.
I've had a bit of a journey with my health, but I'm doing great! I recently had a dental procedure where I had ten teeth removed, and I feel so much better now. I also have something called nuclear sclerosis in my eyes-just a normal part of aging, nothing to worry about! While I did show some signs of stress-related Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (FIC) during my short shelter stay, I'm doing well now and just need a calm environment to keep me happy and healthy. My vets also say that continuing my weight loss journey will be great for me!
I'm looking for a quiet, loving home where I can be your one and only pet. I would do best with adults or older kids who understand that I like attention on my terms.
