Hello there, I'm Templeton. I'm a 7 year old gal, who is a bit of an independent soul, but don't let that fool you, I've got a soft spot for a good cuddle and scratches with those I trust. Exploring is one of my favorite pastimes. I love to investigate every nook and cranny, you never know what treasures you might find!
I'm not a fan of being held, but I do love a good scratch. I think my ideal home would be a quiet house with adult people or older children who can respect that I prefer the chillaxing life and my own space sometimes. Preferably I would be the only pet in the home but may be open to a quiet furrriend to share my home with.
In my previous home it was a little too busy for my liking and I would show my stress by urinating inappropriately. Since coming to the shelter, I have been doing great with using the litterbox. My friends here at HSLM have placed me on a urinary diet as a precaution, I will go home with this diet but you are welcome to speak to your vet team about other maintenance plans, which could include a regular diet when I go home!
