Oh hi there!!!!!! I'm Jax. I am a seven year old handsome black kitty finally ready to find my new home! It took a bit longer than usual for me to be ready for adoption because I have diabetes. The folks at the shelter have done an amazing job getting this under control and are ready to help me find my new home. My diabetes is being managed with a small amount of insulin provided twice a day as well as a prescription diabetic diet. I need my insulin every twelve hours so this is something to think about before bringing me home. Our Animal Health Department will be happy to educate you on caring for feline diabetes and will answer any questions you may have.
I am an extremely friendly boy who loves spending time around people getting all the brushes and pets. I'm very playful as well, I love all kinds of toys and am a huge catnip fan. I have lived with other cats and people of all ages, I seem to get along with everyone!
