Meet Chaos - Your Chill, Chatty Companion!
Don't let the name fool you-Chaos is actually a pretty mellow guy with a big heart and even bigger purrs! At around 6 years old, this handsome black-and-white gent is sweet, social, and loves attention on his terms. He'll happily rub up against you for pets, purr away contentedly, and even let you scoop him up for a little cuddle session-just don't expect full-time snuggles (yet!).
Chaos is a well-mannered housemate with perfect litter habits and no fuss when it comes to taking his daily medication-he's a pro! He's also completely unfazed by calm, quiet dogs (as long as there's a baby gate between them), but he's not a fan of other cats and would do best as the only feline in your home.
Health Notes:
Chaos has a history of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), which means he needs to stay on a special hypoallergenic diet and takes a low dose of daily steroids (Prednisone) to keep his digestion steady. His stool is consistent, especially in calm environments, but stress can trigger a flare-up-something to keep in mind as he adjusts to a new home. His adopters should be prepared to continue this management plan and can work with their vet to explore future options (like adjusting his meds or trying different food, if he stays stable).
He also had a heart murmur (grade 3) noted in the past, but it was not heard during his most recent vet exam in June. He currently has no symptoms and doesn't need treatment, just monitoring. His teeth show some tartar, but nothing severe-no dental surgery is recommended at this time.
