I always use my litter box, never scratch the furniture, and I even tolerate a bit of brushing-just don't push your luck with nail trims. I've been told I'm a "fussy eater," but I prefer the term "refined palate."
I'm on the shy side and have recently been going through some changes that have made me a little more sensitive. I may hiss or give a warning nip when I'm feeling unsure, so I need a patient, cat-savvy human who will respect my boundaries and give me time to feel safe again.
Also, full disclosure-I'm carrying a few extra pounds. The vet says I need to shed a bit of weight to feel my best. A healthy weight loss plan with your vet's guidance (plus some fun playtime with wand toys!) would help me live a longer, more active life.
My ideal home? A quiet one, with adults who understand that love sometimes comes with a little sass. No kids, no other pets-just me and you, figuring things out at our own pace.
