Rosemary is currently available from foster, and will be returning to the shelter around 11/14. If you are interested in adopting her, please reach out to critters@arlgp.org
Rosemary is a delightful bunny! We would say only very mildly skittish when getting used to her surroundings, but quick to warm up. If you extend your hand toward her, she may quickly retreat at first, but she's quick to re-approach and try again.
Once she's comfortable, she's quite playful, active and curious. She does settle down nicely after a while too, stretching out fully with her legs out behind her and gradually leaning to the side with her eyes closed as she gets sleepy.
She's easy to approach and handle. She's partially litter box trained. She loves and drinks a lot of water, loves her Timothy hay, and hasn't met a treat she doesn't like. She's also fond of romaine, cilantro, parsley, mint, and a little carrot or apple. She enjoys stacking cups, a good digging box, and rearranging her play area.
Rosemary makes us smile and laugh every day, and we know she'll make a wonderful addition to a loving family.
