Meet Albert, a quirky little guy with a HUGE personality! This man knows what he likes and knows what he doesn't. Albert and his foster have been working on building his confidence in handling, and being a house dog. He is beginning to understand the house training routine and how to walk on leash. He is still quite nervous about new places and loud sounds, so expect to take any new walking paths slowly. Because of this we are also recommending that Albert not live downtown or any high traffic areas.
He has gotten along well with his canine foster friends and would love to meet any potential dog siblings here at the shelter before going home. We don't know how Albert feels about cats, but our adoption counselors would be happy to discuss proper introductions. Due to Albert's sensitivity to certain kinds of touch, we are recommending that he go home with kids teens and up.
Something Albert really prides himself on is his A+ communication skills. If you listen to him he'll listen to you. His ears are always open and his heart is big. If this young gentleman has caught your interest, reach out to DOGS@ARLP.ORG today!
