About: This handsome young hound is the most loving, goofy, and loyal companion you can find. Champ may be 6, but he sure knows how to enage with his inner puppy dog. Stuffies are his one true love! You're home will be littered with them. He is bouncy, playful, and loves a good dance around the kitchen while singing your favorite songs.

Outside his bursts of puppy energy, Champ recharges with a long napping session. His prefferred napping location is your lap on the couch, but will settle foor a good doggie bed. In his foster home Champ has done great at home alone during the work day and is more than happy to make up for lost time with plently of kisses and snuggles. He's shown no signs of destruction other than the occasionaly stuffie squeaker-ectomy. He is also reported to be fully house-trained,

Champ take's the phrase "stop and smell the flowers" VERY seriously. In fact make that "stop and smell every blade of grass." You probably won't make it to work on time after your morning walk, but you will be stress free and happy! He is excellent on leash and is happy to tell you about every person that has walked that path over the last 2 weeks.

While Champ does not mind seeing dogs out and about, he would likely prefer calmer canine friends as other dogs can sometimes makes him a little nervous. Aside from one incident in his foster home where an outdoor cat scared the whiskers off his face, Champ has not had much experience with cats. We suspect that with slow thoughful introdcutions Champ could learn how to speak the cats language.

Due to his nervousness around loud noises and sudden movement we are reccommending that he go home with kids 8 and older.

Attaboy Champ? Come meet him at the ARL today!
