**Aretha Franklin is currently available from foster. If you are interested in adopting, please reach out to critters@arlgp.org**
From Aretha's foster family,
"Aretha is neither a nervous nugget nor a confident critter. Like all rabbits, it takes time for her to open up and feel comfortable. She likes a quiet home, and would do well with an owner or owners who can give her attention in the morning and evening. She likes to be petted but only if she's in a secure space, i.e. with a roof over her head. She is an excellent free range rabbit-she's not destructive, she's potty trained, and she thrives on a very predictable schedule. She has a spunky attitude. She loves foraging games with her Oxbow Vitamin C treats but hates most other treats. That being said, she is very food motivated. She will need regular brushing or combing, which she will accept while she's being petted.
She loves lacinato kale, dandelion greens, and willow leaves like they're going out of style. She will eat fennel fronds and other dark greens as well."
