While he is still adjusting to this change, he's made great strides since he first landed! A patient family and a calm environment will help him feel safe, secure, and comfortable enough to let his true personality shine. He is reportedly house trained and enjoys nature walks and playing outside. Phil is a loving companion who is ready to be your new best friend.
Phil will need to meet any potential human housemates here at the shelter prior to adoption. He could be a match for a family with children 8+ who understand how to interact appropriately with dogs, including giving him space when needed, recognizing when he is uncomfortable, and engaging in calm, gentle interactions. He is looking for a home without other dogs or cats.
