ABOUT: Stella can be shy but once she comes out of her shell, you are friends for life. Stella is full of fun and loves to stay active - her favorite games include fetch, tug-of-war, wrestling, and a good game of chase. She's also a big fan of butt scratches (the more, the better!) and enjoys spending time with her people. Car rides are one of her favorite adventures, and she's always happy to hop in and go for a spin. Stella is housetrained and crate trained, and she already knows a few commands like "sit" and "stay." She's still working on her recall but is eager to keep learning with a patient and loving family. Her foster says she adores snuggling up under blankets, and has done wonderfully with the children in her foster home. They also shared that she does a wonderful job listening to commands and paying attention to her people!
Stella would thrive as the only dog in her home, where she can soak up all the attention and love. Stella has lived with cats in the past, but we require slow and proper introductions which a counselor can guide you through. Stella can meet any residential kids here at the shelter.
