Dora is an absolute sweetheart with a heart of gold-she's just a little shy about showing it at first. This beautiful girl is very nervous in new environments and takes time to warm up, but once she trusts you, she becomes your loyal little shadow, following you everywhere with quiet devotion.
If you have any dogs in the home, we ask that you bring them by for a meet and greet to see if it is a fit. However, we suspect she may be happiest as the only dog in the home. Her history with cats is unknown, but we're happy to go over introductions if needed. Because of her shy nature, we are asking that she goes home with teens and up who can give her the patience, understanding, and gentle guidance she needs to feel safe. A quieter home where she can decompress and build trust at her own pace would be ideal.
