WEIGHT: 40lbs
Smart, sensitive, and full of potential-Holly is a young girl looking for a home that understands her unique needs and is ready to help her grow into her best self.
Holly has never been on her own before-she grew up with her littermate-so adjusting to life as a solo dog is a big transition. Because of this, she's likely to show signs of separation anxiety in a new home. However, we've already seen how well she can adjust with the right support, structure, and patience.
Holly is an incredibly bright pup who needs plenty of mental stimulation and ongoing training. She has a low frustration tolerance and very little impulse control right now, which can show up as whining or attention-seeking behavior. She'll thrive with someone who can help her channel her energy productively, strike a balance between activity and calm, and teach her how to self-soothe when things get a little overwhelming.
Holly will need to meet any resident dogs here at the shelter, and her experience with cats is unknown. Due to her physicality and nervous tendencies, we're looking for a home with kids 12 and up.
We're committed to helping Holly succeed in her new home, which is why we're offering a free training consult with her adoption to help her (and you!) get off on the right paw.
If you're patient, dog-savvy, and ready to invest in a truly rewarding relationship, Holly might just be the match for you.
