ABOUT: Sweet Phoenix might be a big gal, but she would make a chill and lovely companion for any home. This girl can start out shy and nervous, but she has made great progress in her foster home and once she trusts you're in her circle, you're IN.
The list of great things about Phoenix feels endless! She loves to sleep by her people's side either on the couch or dog bed, she loves toys - especially squeaky ones - and she loves taking leisurely walks around the neighborhood.
Phoenix gains lots of confidence from other dogs and is required to go home with another 4 legged friend. If you already have a dog in your home, she'll need to meet them here at the shelter to make sure it's a good fit. If you have a cat, our team will discuss proper introductions between Phoenix and your resident feline. With slow introductions and lots of high value treats, we think Phoenix would do okay with kiddos aged 6+.
