Want to meet the most resilient tripod dog who's ever lived?
On his exterior Gordon is a reserved and quiet boy, but once comfortable, get ready for the playful and fun side that comes out! Humans can make Gordon a bit nervous, but canine friends really bring out his confidence and shining personality! Because of this, we are requiring that Gordon goes home with another dog to help him through life's hurdles in addition to the transition into a new home.
Gordon would prefer to live in a teens and up household in a quieter neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of Downtown. We're not sure how Gordon feels about cats, but are pretty hopeful that with proper introductions this adorable young pup could live successfully with them.
Gordon will need an understanding adopter that is willing to move at his speed and is committed to continuing training and desensitizing. Gordon does come with 3 complimentary sessions with our Behavior & Training team (to be used within the first 3 months of adopting) to set everyone up for success, and he needs it! We don't know much about Gordon's history other than he came to his southern shelter with a severely injured leg at a very young age, meaning he didn't get to live the normal 'puppy' experience. Because of this, patience will be a virtue for this guy's new family. We, and his foster parent both promise, he's worth it!
