Meet Boo, a sweet and gentle girl who also happens to be deaf. She's looking for a quiet, understanding home where she can take her time settling in and feel safe and loved.
Because she can be easily startled, especially when approached unexpectedly, Boo would do best with kids 8 and up who can respect her space and understand her needs. She has lived with cats before and done well, we will go over proper intros with you! If you have any dogs in the home, we ask that you bring them by for a meet and greet, she has gotten along with other dogs in the past and here at the shelter.
A fully fenced yard is strongly recommended, as Boo can be a flight risk if frightened, and she has been known to chew through leashes and harnesses. Despite her challenges, she is incredibly sweet and affectionate once she feels comfortable, and she's sure to form a deep bond with someone who's patient and kind.
