Hello, I'm Knack! I'm about 3 years old and weigh roughly 67 pounds.
I'm eligible for Greenhill's Foster-to-Adopt Program! Through this program, you can foster me to see if we are a good match before committing to an adoption. Canine program staff can tell you more and you can learn more about this program here: www.green-hill.org/foster-to-adopt.
** I'm a volunteer favorite and here's why:
"Knack is a big sweetheart! He has always been well-behaved with me. He is engaged and loves his play time."
"I always enjoy my time with smart, silly Knack. Good pets, good play time, good walks. He's a happy, friendly dog, fun to spend time together."
"Sweetest, big boy, big energy. Very gentle and super smart. He knows all the tricks." **
Do you like...
Dogs? I've been more successful interacting with friendly female dogs. Please bring all dogs in the home to meet!
Cats? I'm looking for a kitty-free home!
Kids? I'd like to start out meeting kiddos 8+.
Anything else you'd like us to know, Knack? Did you know I've been at the shelter for over 250 days! I'm just a sweet, playful guy who also knows when it's time to relax and cuddle up. I'm looking for a forever family who has a lot of live to give and is ready to recieve a lot of love in return!
I came into the shelter as a surrender and the above information is all recommendations based on my previous history and the behavior seen at the shelter. Expect to learn more about me after adoption.
It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption.
My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!
Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I'm looking for my forever home and it could be with you!
ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license.
This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. See all of the pets at this shelter by visiting www.green-hill.org.
