Dagwood is a laid back, lemon colored Coonhound who loves to be with his people.
Found as an emaciated stray out in the countryside, Dagwood has made great strides in becoming a beloved and healthy companion. He is very food and treat motivated; teaching him new tricks with the promise of delicious rewards is the key to his heart. He's learned to "sit", "shake" and "lay down". He is housetrained and loves to take rejuvenating naps while snuggled into his bed after time spent outside in his foster mom's garden.
He is calm and playful around other dogs, with moderate energy. Cats are a little too interesting to him so it's best that he not share a home with them. Dagwood will definitely let you know if and when someone is approaching the property by sounding the alarm with his true to form Hound bark! This boy is more than ready for a forever family of his very own.
