Aurie (aka Princess Aurora) is a gorgeous girl who regularly perches on her cat tower overlooking her outdoor kingdom. You can expect an earful when she greets you at the door.
Aurie is a girl who definitely knows what she wants and what she doesn't want. She LOVES being brushed and will position herself at your feet while you indulge her and fluff her soft fur. She also welcomes petting from top to tail. She LOVES to play, especially chasing balls. After playtime and dinner, she looks forward to bedtime so she can curl up at your feet or on your legs to sleep.
Aurie isn't for you if you want a lap cat, but she may sit or lay nearby keeping you in sight until she snoozes or watches TV. Yes, she watches TV! She may also tolerate you picking her up and possibly even purr, but that's only for a few seconds before she meows to be put back down. We have no idea if she'll become a lap cat when she's older, but for now we respect her wishes to not cuddle.
This girl is sweet, lovable, and loving in her own way. She's sociable with her person/people. However, she'd do best as an only pet. Not only has she been away from other cats for over a year and dogs scare her, but she also enjoys the "only child" attention.
