Sherlock was WTOP's Pet of the Week! https://www.instagram.com/reel/Dd4mKy6M5Qs/?stkn=aXgwejJkbWZmbWc5
If your hobbies include letting sleeping dogs lie and absolutely not working like a dog, allow us to introduce you to Sherlock!
This 75-pound boxer/pitbull mix is a sweet, friendly gentleman who perfectly balances his love for lounging with a charming, affectionate personality. While he takes his naps very seriously, he loves to know what's going on around the house and will follow you from room to room just to see what you're up to.
He has been completely reliable with his house training, making him an easy addition to a household routine. We also live near an elementary school, and he has been relaxed and gentle around the kids in the neighborhood, so he would fit in beautifully with a family.
He still has a fun, playful side to share, but his manners are amazing. He walks beautifully on a loose leash, is calm toward passing dogs on his strolls, and is gentle when accepting treats or playing.
Ultimately, Sherlock is a gentle giant who just wants to be part of your daily routine, whether that means a little playtime, a neighborhood sniff, or a long nap. Sherlock is ready to solve the mystery of your empty couch, so come meet him!
