Miss Bea is a true beauty, as sweet and gentle as they come. This charming senior has a wonderfully calm presence and makes an endlessly delightful companion, happy to simply be near her person and soak up every bit of affection offered.
Miss Bea is doing great in her foster home. She can be left alone freely in the home and is well behaved. She's currently living with another dog. At a recent event, she was wiggly with everyone who wanted to pet her and gentle with the children. A man put his toddler on the floor next to her and she just laid down next to him. She did not like the hyper, young dogs bounding towards her so we kept a distance, but she didn't mind them at all as long as they didn't come towards her. With people she welcomed all attention and was calm and mellow.
Miss Bea has heartworm which means she needs rest and to be calm while she gets fixed up. The good thing is that HRA will take care of all her treatments free of charge if you adopt her (in fact, she's already started treatment!).
