*Woof* Meet me at 71 Oglethorpe St NW between 12pm-6:30pm daily!
Check it out! Manchego (FKA Klinger) was WTOP's Pet of the Week: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DZqU5aJMYwp/?igsh=eGY5YzF1ano1eWhm
Manchego is a handsome young pup with an exuberant joy for life. He is learning how to best channel his enthusiasm and will just need a bit of help in staying on track (folks here think he is a smart boy and very trainable). He loves his toys and playing with them and playing fetch! Manchego also enjoys the company of other dogs with a similar energetic play. He is continuing to learn his basic manners here at the shelter and he hopes you will join him in a positive reinforcement class where you can help him shine! Manchego has been on some recent "field trips" to get some time away from the shelter and he is a good boy in the car. New things and loud noises can make him excited on his walks but once he has had some time to get to know you, he is able to turn his attention to you and enjoy the walk, and get lots of sniffing in! He is also an expert at snuggling and he is happy to deepen this expertise further. If fun, joy and snuggles sound like a good idea, come meet the handsome boy today!
