PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.
Meet Cole! Cole is approximately 1.5 years old, 52 lbs currently and he is a mixed breed pup! He was found as a stray with his buddy Danny. In his foster home, he is doing great with his house training and crate training, and has started with his leash walking training. He could join households with kids 5+, dog-savvy cats, and other playful dogs.
His foster says, "Cole is the dog everyone wishes to have. Loves everyone, never meets a stranger, loves to play fetch and swim in the water, knows all his commands, sit, stay, down(lay down), come, crates well, is house trained, loves riding in the car/truck, walks well on the leash. He has been gentle with the babies and toddlers letting them hold onto him and grabbing his tail or paws. He plays to each kids energy level, will run and fetch a ball all day with the big kids. Loves to catch water sprayed from the hose and lay in the kiddie pool with the kids. He can stay loose inside the house while your gone and doesn't bother anything, sleeps at night wherever you tell him to, in bed with you, on the couch, on a dog bed or just the floor. He is good with our cat, they sleep together sometimes, never bothered the cat at all. He is good around the outside animals, doesn't bother the free range chickens, and walks by the horses with no interest at all. He has been around all types of dogs and hasn't shown any aggression towards them, male or female."
