Meet Niklaus! Niklaus is approximately 1 year old, 50 lbs currently and he might have some Shepherd in his mix! He was found in a known dumping ground with another dog (Candi). In his foster home, he is doing great with his house training, crate training and leash walking. He could go to a home with kids 10+, and other dogs. He has not been exposed to cats.
His foster says, "Niklaus is the sweetest! He is a big, gentle baby and loves to be in your lap or next to you so he can be the center of your attention. He walks nicely on a leash, he is very clean in his crate and has been working on house training and is doing well. He loves to play and wrestle around with his sister, Candi. He would do great with a sibling to keep him company when no one is home but hopefully he will learn to trust that he will never be abandoned again. He is a darling pup. He is going to make a great family dog."
