Emu is a 7-month-old mixed breed puppy. He currently weighs about 24 lbs. He needs more exposure to home environments so he can learn to regulate himself. When he finally settles down, he is an affectionate, cuddly boy who loves to snuggle with his people.
We feel he needs a home where he can be the only pet so that he doesn't get overstimulated. Although he gets along with other dogs, he eventually annoys them, and they no longer want to engage play at all. He is truly the best boy when he is not in a crazy loop of continuous play.
He interprets cats as small dogs, displaying the same overly playful demeanor, so a home without cats is needed. He is not aggressive and is wonderful at the dog park. He just needs some guidance as to when to turn it off.
