Charlie is a confident, easygoing fellow who spent the past few years as a well-known local community cat. Since coming into our care, he has quickly settled into shelter life and shown everyone what a wonderful companion he can be. You'll often find Charlie perched high atop a cat tree, happily watching the world from his favourite vantage point. He's a curious observer who enjoys keeping an eye on everything happening around him-and he's definitely a big fan of mealtime! Charlie enjoys spending time with his people and is happy to accept pets, especially when he's in the mood.
Charlie does have a little sass and is best suited to being the **only cat in the home**. He can become overstimulated during petting or excitement and may respond with a swat or nip when he's had enough. It's important that his people pay attention to his body language and respect his boundaries, giving him space when he asks for it. After spending years outdoors, Charlie is ready to leave that chapter behind and begin a new one with a family to call his own. If you're looking for a confident, independent boy with plenty of personality and a little bit of sass, Charlie may be your guy!
