Special Feature: Congenital deafness (but she doesn't let that slow them down!).
Celine's story began as part of a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program, where she was living outdoors with her brother. Sadly, just before they were scheduled to have their surgeries, her brother was found deceased. The caretakers were heartbroken for Celine and decided to bring her indoors. When it became clear that she and the resident cat weren't quite the right match, Celine came into our care.
That's when we discovered this sweet girl has congenital deafness. But being deaf certainly doesn't slow Celine down!
Celine is a little lady with plenty to say when she's awake-and absolutely nothing to say when she's asleep! She sleeps so soundly that you might wonder where she went. Once she's caught up on her beauty sleep, though, she's ready for fun.
Now happily romping around with the other kittens, Celine is proving to be an absolute delight. She's playful, affectionate, and full of those adorable kitten mannerisms that make you smile. Give her a toy and watch her bat it across the room, chase after it, and start all over again!
This special girl has come such a long way, and she's ready to find a family who will love her for exactly who she is.
