Meet Pepper
Pepper is a gorgeous, goofy, snuggly black kitten. He is one of nine kittens raised by our beautiful Precious kitty. Pepper and his sisters Penny and Poppy are the calmest of the babies and love to snuggle with each other. Pepper is a little more independent though, so would be ok adopted as a single kitty. but of course we would love for Pepper to go home with one of his siblings, or into a home with a sweet, loving kitty. If you're looking for an adorable little snuggle buddy, Pepper (and maybe Penny, Poppy, Ivan or Garth) might just be the one for you.

Please call our shelter at 706-865-4135 or email us at smithgallhumanesociety@windstream.net to verify that we received your application. All adopters must complete an approval process which involves a reference check with current/recent vet and a brief home visit if located in the immediate area. We do permit out of state adoptions. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship nor do we transport them to their new homes. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are either owner relinquished rescued from area Animal Controls or high kill shelters. The facility usually is operating at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open.
