Meet Cola
Cola is a sweet, little torti kitten. She's super snuggly but in a room with some BIG personalities she was getting overlooked because she's calm and quiet until you get to know her. Well, this girl has learned to seek out visitors to the kitten room! She has overcome her shyness and approaches volunteers, ready to get held and share her loud rumbly purr. Cola is now one of the friendliest kittens we have! Cola would be a great companion for a family, either with or without other kitties or dogs. She has beautiful markings and is going to grow up to be a beauty!

All adopters must complete an approval process which involves a reference check with current/recent vet and a brief home visit if located in the immediate area. We do permit out of state adoptions. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship nor do we transport them to their new homes. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are either owner relinquished rescued from area Animal Controls or high kill shelters. The facility usually is operating at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open.
