Meet Abel - A Gentle Soul Who Has Learned to Trust
Abel's journey hasn't been an easy one. He was left on FMAR's doorstep in a cramped carrier-confused, frightened, and unsure of the world around him. When he first arrived, he was understandably terrified, hissing and hiding as he tried to cope with such a sudden and overwhelming change.
But look at him now! With time, patience, and lots of love, Abel has come **such a long way**. The once-frightened boy who was unsure of people has learned that humans can be kind-and he now **trusts people and absolutely loves attention**.
In fact, Abel is often the **first to greet people when they walk in**. He's eager to say hello, and once you start giving him attention, he completely melts into it. He especially loves his favorite wet food in the mornings, which is definitely still the way to his heart!
Watching Abel blossom has been incredibly rewarding. He's gone from a scared, hiding kitty to a sweet boy who seeks out companionship and is ready to show off his affectionate side. He may always have a gentle, sensitive soul, but he has learned that he is safe, loved, and surrounded by people he can trust.
Abel is looking for a home where his new family will continue to give him the love and affection he has learned to enjoy. If you're looking for a sweet companion who will happily greet you and melt in your hands when you give him attention, Abel may be your perfect match.
