Quinn came to us from a cruelty case, completely shut down and unsure if she could trust anyone. At first, we honestly weren't sure if she would ever come around. But day by day, she has been slowly, bravely choosing to try - and every little step has been a victory.
She's good with other dogs, but big, loud playgroups can be overwhelming for her. She would do best in a home with one or two calm, steady dogs who can help her feel safe without too much pressure. Around the right companions, she relaxes, observes, and lets her gentle nature shine.
Quinn does not show well in her kennel - she barks a lot because she's stressed and unsure. But give her just a minute outside that environment and she transforms. She softens, wags her tail, and shows you what a truly sweet, tender dog she is.
Kennel life has been hard on her, and she's starting to show signs of stress. We're hoping to get her adopted or rescued sooner rather than later so she can continue healing in a calm, loving home.
Quinn is quiet. She's gentle. She's trying her absolute best to trust again. And she deserves a place where she can finally breathe.
