Shelby has all the wonderful traits people love about German Shepherds - loyalty, intelligence, readiness to work - just in a smaller, more manageable package. At about a year old, she's high energy but still very well mannered, and she does great with other dogs. She's had no issues in playgroups and especially loves playing with other high energy pups who can match her enthusiasm.
Despite how amazing she is, nobody has ever asked to meet her outside her kennel. She's the first one to bark for attention, and while that might make people walk past, the moment she's out, she's incredibly sweet, affectionate, and eager to bond.
Shelby loves toys and would thrive in a home where she has plenty to play with and maybe even a "job" to do - something to keep her brain and energy busy. She's a perfect size: not too big, not too small, and full of potential. She'd be thrilled to have a playmate at home and an adopter who'll let her shine.
