A million common names in the world, and we landed on McLovin! Here he is!
McLovin is a mixed breed, year and a half old male looking for his forever home! At the time that he came to us, he originally weighed in at just 37 pounds but has since had some weight to gain, so he's looking a bit heftier now! As far as energy levels go, he's a very active boy and about what you would expect out of a young, soon-to-be gentleman, and definitely needs a home that's willing to provide the training and patience he needs to thrive. He still needs to learn how to keep all 4 paws on the floor, but he really just wants to be in your lap!
Mclovin is a major sweetheart, but due to all of his puppy-like energy we would suggest that any children in his forever home are 13+ so they can appropriately handle his energy levels. He may be able to go home with younger, but he can definitely be a bit jumpy at times and knock them around!
As for dog friends, a right match is essential for the perfect fit. He is young still, so he definitely tries to play hard! He would prefer a dog friend that can be a good sport for his antics, but also play with him when he wants! At this time, we are still unsure how Mclovin does with cats, but we can test him at any time!
