Meet Corona!
Say hello to Corona, a handsome 3-year-old Pit Bull mix weighing around 77 pounds! This sensitive boy may take a little time to feel comfortable with new people, but once he gets to know you and realizes he's safe, his sweet and affectionate personality truly shines.
Corona likes to take life at his own pace. He's looking for a patient family who will give him the time and space he needs to build trust and feel confident. Because of his sensitivities, we're asking that any children in his forever home be 16 years or older and able to understand and respect his boundaries when he needs some space.
Once Corona warms up to you, you'll discover a loving companion who enjoys the simple things in life. He may not be the type of pup who wants to go everywhere with you, but he'd be perfectly happy joining you for a nice, leisurely walk and then settling in for a relaxing evening at home.
Corona is uncomfortable around other dogs, so he would prefer to be the only dog in his forever home. We're currently unsure how he feels about cats, so his compatibility with feline friends is still unknown.
If you're looking for a gentle, loyal companion and are willing to let a sensitive boy come out of his shell at his own pace, Corona may be the perfect match. Give him the time he needs, and you may just discover an incredibly sweet friend waiting to show you his heart. Stop in today at The Humane Society of Summit County to meet him!
