Meet Elphie!
Elphie is a sweet, approximately 2½-year-old girl who may need a little time to show you her true personality. She can be quite shy when you first meet her, but once she feels safe and comfortable, she slowly starts to warm up and let her people into her world. Due to her shyness, she does need an adult-only, low traffic home to help her come out of her shell.
Elphie has experience living with other cats and would do well with a feline friend who understands personal space. She's more of a "co-exister" than a best-friends-and-cuddle-all-day type of cat. She's perfectly happy sharing her home with another kitty while doing her own thing.
Before coming to the shelter, Elphie was a momma cat, and she was a wonderful mother to her babies. Now, she's ready for someone to give her the patience, love, and safe home she deserves.
If you're looking for a gentle girl who just needs a little time to come out of her shell, Elphie may be your perfect match. Give her the time to trust you, and you'll get to see the sweet personality hiding behind those shy beginnings.
