I came to the shelter from an impound rescue partner due to a welfare concern, and the noise and hustle of shelter life have been pretty overwhelming for me. Kennels make me nervous, and when I'm scared, I tend to hold my breath and hope the big world doesn't notice me.
I'm not mean at all, just a sensitive girl whose heart races when things get chaotic. But the moment the volunteers clip on a leash and guide me outside into the open air, my whole body softens. The grass beneath my paws helps me remember how to relax.
What I need most is a calm, patient person who understands that trust takes a little time. I'm already spayed, healthy, and more than ready to leave kennel life behind. My dream day doesn't involve wild parties or loud crowds-just a quiet home, a steady routine, and a soft couch where I can finally let my guard down and lean against your side.
