Many folks know the song "Bobby McGee", written by Kris Kristofferson and Fred L. Foster. Dolly Parton recorded it with Kris Kristofferson, and because my momma Jolene and my siblings are named for some of the songs Dolly performed, I'm Bobby McGee, a buff tabby boy who came from another rescue to Paws and Claws. It takes me a bit to settle in; I can be feisty and hissy in new, unfamiliar places. I do like being petted, and I really like to play! My sibs and I love chasing, climbing, and playing with toys. I won't be "pulling my harpoon" or singing the blues for long if you're patient and give me time to settle into a rhythm in my new home. I'd love to be your adorable Bobby McGee.
