Meet Bruno Boy! Bruno is a 5.5-year-old long-haired German Shepherd who is looking for a home of his own. He's a big, sweet guy with a pretty laid-back personality. Bruno loves being around his people and is happy hanging out nearby, getting pets, relaxing outside, or curling up on the couch. He's kennel trained, knows his basic commands, and actually likes his kennel. If the door is left open, you'll often find him hanging out in there on his own. Bruno is very food motivated and loves to play fetch. He also loves a kiddie pool on a hot day! He's done well with other medium and large dogs and would enjoy having a dog friend with a similar energy level. Because he has a strong prey drive, he needs a home without cats or other small animals. Bruno would do best in a quieter home without a lot of people coming and going. He's never lived with kids, so we think an adult home would be the best fit for him. A securely fenced yard would be great for Bruno. He loves being outside, but his recall isn't reliable, so he'll need to stay on leash when he's not in a fenced area. One of our favorite things about Bruno is his funny little "singing" voice. If he's excited, wants a treat, or thinks it's time for something fun, he'll let you know with his adorable little whine.
