Rex(German Shepherd) and Vaeda(Shiba Inu mix)are a bonded pair who came to us when their owner could no longer care for them. The two do well with dogs their own size and more relaxed energy levels. Cats and small dogs are a no. Both are friendly and affectionate, but we feel they would adapt best to an adult home. Typical of the breeds, they can be wary of strangers, but warm up fairly quickly. While Rex is more laid back, Vaeda seeks attention. Watch out for her kisses! She also loves to "talk" and is quite the conversationalist. While both dogs would love a fenced yard, they do well walking on leash. Vaeda is athletic and may be able to jump a shorter fence. They are both house trained, kennel trained, and well mannered. It is a lot to ask someone to take two dogs, much less two large dogs, but these two are so deserving. So, if you have room in your heart and home for these two beautiful souls, apply and come meet them.
