"You don't need money to lead a rich life. Good friends and a loving family are worth their weight in gold." - Susan Gale. Hola! Me llama Rico. My name means "rich"! I am muy rico - very rich - because my very best amigo is an older gato - cat - named Loki. We were surrendered to Paws and Claws with another boy, Tommy, in mid-August because our person could not care for us. Loki is a senior guy, and I am a youngster, only 1 ½ year old. But age doesn't matter to us! After we came to the shelter, we both had major dental work done, and we lost our appetites. Because we weren't eating, we went to a foster home. Our foster mom said that we are very sweet boys who love being brushed. Now we're back at the shelter and ready to be adopted. We are very bonded to each other; we hang out together, touching, sometimes only a paw, but we find great comfort in one another. Please, my life and Loki's will be richer when we are together, and I "purr-omise" you, yours will be too!
