When you see that happy, black and white tuxedo boy playing with the Kong Curlz Wand Toy, you'll never know that I can't see it! Really! I'm called Ray Charles, and I'm a young adult boy who had both eyes removed after I came to the shelter due to chronic eye infections. That was lucky; I'd been found out on my own as a stray in Mabel, and I have some other special health needs, so I would have had a tough time managing out on my own. I love that feather toy! Time and again, I capture the ribbons and feathers on the end. If you didn't know I have no eyes, you'd swear I can see it! I even roll over on my back and wrestle with them! My hearing is great - I bat a small jingle ball around and follow the sound. I seem to "look" at people when they talk to me. The musician, Ray Charles, recalled his mama telling him, "You're blind, you ain't dumb; you lost your sight, not your mind." I am such a sweet boy, and once I go home to be your darling Ray, remember his famous song, "I Can't Stop Loving You."
