Labels are for filing, not for people - or cats! Some people thought I had "catitude", but I was nervous about being in a new place. I mean, it's not a home, is it? Maybe I seemed grouchy - well, yes, maybe I was. My name is Demeka. I'm a pretty, tabby and white medium-haired adult kitty who came to Paws and Claws from another rescue. It's not great being in a kennel, but I'm doing okay now, I've settled in. I still don't like other cats near my kennel, but I DO like people! I like pets and laps! I'll bet I'd like your lap, too, once I feel comfortable with you. My name means "strong and powerful woman," and well, I am a "full-figured" girl.
