Did you know that the woman who was perhaps the first female aviator was named Blanche? Blanche Stuart Scott famously drove an automobile across the country in 1910, becoming only the second woman to do that! After that, she learned to fly an airplane! My name is Blanche, and while I've had adventures, I am more than ready to settle down! I am a dilute calico adult who was found along County Road 3 in Pine Island. I was very calm in the car when my finder brought me to the shelter, and I was very hungry when I arrived! I am such a friendly girl! I love attention, and I love sitting in people's laps. I don't mind being held. I'm a lovely cat who'll be a great match for someone who's looking for a sweet, affectionate companion. Come in and say hello to Blanche.
