"Hurricane Joe"? Is that me? Is that why I have the wounds on my head, shoulders, and legs? It IS the name of one of the many books in Franklin W. Dixon's Hardy Boy Mystery series. I am named after the younger of the two brothers in the famous series. I was living outdoors with my brother Frank when we were found in Austin. Life is tough when you're living rough. I am being treated for my wounds to prevent infection. We were relieved and happy to be fed, and our finder said that we liked playing with toys. She said we really need to be in a home where someone will take good care of us. Frank and I were nervous when we got here and startled at sudden movements, but we're friendly, affectionate guys. We both love pets. After all we've been through together, we've become bonded to each other. We'd like to be adopted together. Who could split up the Hardy Boys?!
