If you're looking for a playful cat but not a rambunctious kitten, you need to meet me. I'm Alexis, a 5½ -year-old calico kitty. I was found as a stray in Mabel with a cat called David, who was recently adopted. We might be siblings; he's my age, and we both like playing with toys, especially little mouse toys and plastic coils. I do well with children, ages 7-16. I can take a while to warm up in new situations, but once I feel comfortable, I am affectionate and cuddly. I am not fond of being held, and I am temperamental with other cats. I do not like dogs. I was fed Purina One Plus while in my rescuer's home. I'll make a fun companion for grownups or for a family with older children.
