"Work consists of whatever a body is obliged to do, and. Play consists of whatever a body is not obliged to do." - (The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" by Mark Twain.) I'm glad I'm a cat because I am not obliged to work, and I love to play! I'm a friendly, one-year-old tabby boy named Tom. I was found with a female cat who might be my sister - Kate - in a brush pile in Mantorville. The man who found us said that he and his wife already had enough cats, so they couldn't keep us. I'm happy that my days as a vagabond are over, and I am being cared for here at the shelter. But I'd really like a home. Kate and I are both playful young cats. We love toys. Because we were found together at a young age, we might like to be adopted together too. I'm a nice cat, and going home to be your Tom would be da bomb!
