Once a kitten, always a Kitten. Yes, I'm an older kitten now, and that's my name, Kitten. I was found with my mama Jolene on a rural property in Lyle. By the time we could get in to be spayed, mama had four more kittens! There had been six, but two did not survive. We went to a foster home, and I loved being around the younger kitties. I was like a second mama to them. I am slow to trust people, but now I do enjoy belly rubs on occasion. I love to "sploot" (sprawl out flat on my tummy). I am food/treat motivated. I am used to eating from a cookie sheet. If I am eating next to another cat while using a smaller dish, my whiskers can't touch another cat. I'll wait to eat until I have more space. I will eat treats off a person's fingers or a spoon, and I will sleep or lie by my foster mom on the couch or on the floor by her feet. I loved playing with the other kittens, my mama, and my foster mom. I especially love the laser light and wand toys, balls, and tearing up cardboard. I also love being up high where I can look out the window. I thrive when I am around my mama Jolene. She shows me that people are good and helps me feel safe. I'd really love to be adopted with her. I would do well with another playful, active kitten also. Mama and I are staying in our foster home. Those interested in adopting me should contact the shelter to make arrangements to meet me.
